Is it quiet up there?
Do you hear the roar of the earth below you?
Is it perpetually quiet when you look at us? Curious what is causing all of the hubbub on the far side?
I imagine it’s cool. The vacuum of space, comfort’s embrace, not harsh and cold.
Do you watch us sleep? Do you feel each of us looking up at you, wishing for answers that are clear as day to you?
Does the peace of night bring you clarity? Down here it’s often confusion… but the sun rises and we trudge onwards anyways.
Do you know about the planets? What do you think about the Sun?
Have you seen Mars in the (not too far) distance? Do you know about Mercury and Venus?
How long have you watched us? Was exciting when man first began? Do you wonder how it’ll all end too?
Do you look forward to the eclipse like we do?
Do you watch the tides? Do you know how big of a difference your presence makes here?
Thank you for your consistency. You appear to come and go, but you’ll always come back in the same place (from our perspective) eventually. Thanks for hitching a ride with us in our orbit around the sun, because it wouldn’t be the same without you.

Perspective is everything. We don’t know how we impact the world around us and the fact that the world would not be the same if we were not here. 🙂
Oh dear loved this ! It was so cute, whimsical and beautiful ! Omg ! So so good
That part “Do you watch us sleep? Do you feel each of us looking up at you, wishing for answers that are clear as day to you?” I loved this
